The 9/10 Production and Year 8 Dance and Drama classes, along with teacher Kendyl Ponting and Georgie Todman, were very excited to attend ‘The Addams Family’ presented by Newstead College. After an uncertain year regarding large scale productions, it was wonderful for students to have the opportunity to see this kooky and quirky musical along with students from across the north. Treated to some exceptional singing and performing by their Year 11 and 12 peers, students enjoyed songs such as ‘When You’re an Addams’ and ‘One Normal Night’ with the characters of Gomez and Wednesday a hit with most of the cohort. Students in Performing Arts are looking forward to hopefully attending Launceston College ‘Flashdance’ in the coming months.
